i'm 21. i'm a fucking grown up, GOD DAMN! its LEGAL for me to do stuff now. strange tho, i'm still the social retard i've always been.
many many heartfelt thanks to everyone for the wishes. you've all made exam season a whole lot more bearable. first paper on my birthday :( to hunnie and sha and aud for the cake (i love it!) and the gift (i love that too!) to everyone back home, thanks for the wishes. i miss you all very much, surprisingly. :p thank you so much for everything. if you read this and realise you forgot my birthday...well...be thankful that i have depth.
yesterday we went to PUKEKO's NEST..which was closing down. funny thing is, we've always walked by that area but never dropped in. anyways, the whole point of us going out was not to go to pukeko's nest, but to go to the police station to make a report cause sha had her phone pickpocketed from her the day before. and PN was havinga closing down sale. and it was the last day. so we just thought we'd drop in. LO AND BEHOLD cool paintings! and a bunch of artsy fartsy stuff. or at least things that could pass as artsy fartsy stuff. prices were reduced to clear and since i'm in the mood for decorating, that was a great place to go to. ok lah, long LONG story short, i bought 3 paintings, sha and hunnie got a few. then the artist said she'd give us a discount since we bought so many. i guess she could tell how much we liked the paintings. then she gave us each a free painting, and she gave me the one she saw me eyeing, but couldnt afford cause they only take cash there.
HOW SWEET IS THAT?? the paintings are up on the wall now. and i love looking at them. i dont know what it is, the one she gave me, but i just love looking at them. they're not, in my mind, avant garde-ey art per se..but i like it nonetheless.
Exam onslaught! i hate the weird dreams exam season gives me.
