new hair, new block

we've moved in to the new block, and i must say, YUCK. from a nice, clean dorm with brightly lit corridors and clean toilets with a room complete with an excellent view to a dingy looking dorm where someone hung themselves and a dirty, FILTHY toilet that just doesnt seem to fail to remind me that i am still living  in a third world country, its a real culture shock. screw the fact that its just the other side of campus. the thought of leaving the resort-room distressed me so much that i went for a hair cut last friday...cutting off whatever little is left of my hair, and i must say, i do like this new haircut. problem is, i dont know how to style it. my hair turned out to be too short for the style i wanted so the stylist gave me a different one. it is seriously Different. its nice, but i DONT know how to style it, and when i wake up, its so short it looks like it spilled out of my head, haha.

in a mood for makeovers, my roomie wants a new look too. i suggested a sideswept fringe that i think will seriously make her look sizzling HOT. i dont know when we'll be going out to do her hair, but i'm looking forward to it. oo, fun fun.

other than that, i still am very insecure, and i have very valid reasons to be. i'm not the kind of person who just believes things for no reason, but i just dont want to mention them here. instict and reason tell me i do have very valied reasons to be insecure.

studies suck.

handing in letter for leave tomorrow. please GOD let them let me go.

i like my new hair. credits go to the very accomodating hair-stylist who was trying to make me feel as comfortable as possible. i never would have ever gone for this look if it wasnt for him and that leap of faith proved to be worth it. its edgy and i love it. i think i'll keep experimenting with the short hair range for a while to come. so all you people who dont like me in short hair, LOOK OUT!
